2-15-04:
We just
wanted to let everyone know that we have struck an excellent deal with
an
area hotel. The Host Hotel will be the Crowne Plaza in Nashua ,New
Hampshire. They
have offered a great rate of $79 per night. When choosing the
hotel several factors were taken into account: location, price, ability
to host a banquet (in the interest of keeping the wild
and drunk skydivers off the road!), on-site restaurant, on site Bar,
other amenities, proximity to grocery stores, gas stations, and other
restaurants.
Due to lack of meeting rooms, several smaller and closer hotels were
eliminated. The price they offered also was only about 10-15%
cheaper than the Crowne Plaza and the facilities are no where near
as nice. Even the holiday Inn (6 miles) which has meeting rooms and
is many years older than the Crowne Plaza (and not in the same class)
only offered
$79 per night
The addition of the Crowne Plaza guarantees a quality place to stay
and play after jumping. We are very lucky to be offered the lowest
corporate rate they have for this size event. It help to have
friends. Here
